Job Summary:
The Biding Officer is responsible for supporting the company’s end to end bidding activity by preparing bid documents as requirements for government and private bidding. Typical job duties are providing bid proposals, attending pre- bid, and bidding conferences, and providing direct assistance to Business Development Officers.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- With at least 1-2 years of experience bidding and procurement process/procedure.
- Ability to work under multiple tight deadlines and respond to last minute requests and compressed production schedules.
- Great analytical skills -- should have an eye for detail.
- Great socializing skills -- must be a team player.
- Ability to travel, when necessary, to attend clients meeting, pre-bidding, and bidding
- conferences.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexible to work outside normal office hours as may be required from time-to-time.
