Entry Level Data Analyst for Finance Company  

We are looking for an Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our financial company's team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and optimize business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and clean data from primary and secondary sources to ensure data quality and efficiency.
• Perform basic analysis to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Create and maintain databases and data systems essential for project and departmental functions.
• Assist in developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Prepare reports for management, highlighting trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Collaborate closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Provide support to data analysts and other departments regarding data-related technical issues and infrastructure needs.
• Ad hoc tasks from the client.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
• Understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Undergo 3 days of paid training. If there's an urgency for the role, then the new hire must render an hour of paid OT before or after the shift for 3 weeks.
• Amenable to work Monday through Friday between 8 AM - 5 PM US Pacific Time Zone(PST).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or coursework in data analysis or related fields.
• Experience with financial data analysis.
• Familiarity with advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
• Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud computing platforms.
• Relevant certifications in data analytics or related areas.
