System Engineer  

Job Description Sandz is a IT managed services solutions provider providing technology driven solutions and services that address IT transformation and operation requirements.

As part of the technical services group, the role of the systems manager is to ensure all technical related activities are performed and executed efficiently – from implementation, system design, support related activities. As the systems engineer. in charge of designing, implementing and maintaining the information technology systems for an organization both internal and external. Their duties include designing the basic computing infrastructure to accomplish key tasks, establishing networking rules for cybersecurity, and troubleshooting network errors or other technical issues. The foundation of this position is establishing processes to provide consistently high levels of technical service for the customer. With this role, you are considered the subject matter expert and represent an organization that values technical knowledge and customer support. You will be reporting under the technical operations group that provides implementation and support related activities, both remote and onsite This is a full time position, if you are the person who has the passion in providing effective, efficient customer engagement and has the passion to learn technology and continue to upscale, this position maybe perfect for you .

• Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization to be in line with company guidelines or SOP (standard operating procedure);

• Speaking to and collaborating with a variety of people, such as clients, vendors, management, and information technology (IT) staff during the creation and maintenance of a system

• Creating control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization’s quality standards

• Engaging in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational

• Developing a cost-efficient system for projects by performing a cost-benefit analysis

• Ensuring that an organization is operating at maximum efficiency, from manufacturing to distribution

• Defines customers’ needs and functionality in a service development cycle;

• Assists in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output;

• Installs, configures, and test operating systems, application software, servers, storage, network related technologies

• Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability;

• Implements warranty and support activities;

• Evaluates the existing systems and provides the technical direction to IT support staff;

• Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency;

• Oversees the development of customized software and hardware requirement;

• Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures;

• Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders.

• A graduate of a bachelor’s/college degree in computer science / information technology, or business related degree, or any degree for as long as you have the attitude and demeanor to learn technology

• Open for fresh graduates with technical related background, or to career shifters looking for a more technical related work

• Passionate about technology and its role in the industry

• Winning and humble attitude, understand the job and the role very efficiently

• Willing to go onsite support when necessary;

• Willing to work overtime;
