Job Description
- Develop and review the annual work plan of the EHS department
- Develop and provide OH&S policy with corrective advice to subordinates.
- Manage and supervise the overall operations related to occupational health, safety and the environment by ensuring the right actions are carried out according to plan, strategy and budget
- Develop strategies and provide strategic advice on safety, processes on prevention of loss of business, policy on prevention of work that compromises occupational health and environmental safety as appropriate to the nature of the business aligned with the law.
- Manage and formulate investigation guidelines and procedures, prosecute, and investigate criminal responsibility.
- Prevent drugs, crime, contraband and track losses that occur within regions or sectors before adversely affecting the business.
- Develop procedures and supervise work-related accidents, illegal goods, and contraband in all aspects, including solutions to challenges.
- Develop a master plan for the evacuation drill process. Inspect the work environment needed for government reporting.
- Manage, inspect measures, control and supervise operational safety in each work area (e.g. Offices, DC & Hub).
- Manage and solve problems related to government agencies. When encountering non-compliance or documents ordered by the government that relates to occupational health, safety and environmental laws. This includes; following up on lawsuits, various corruption and loss cases, and conducting random inspections of outlets and sites that is safe for work of employees and free of all kinds of drugs.
- Alignment on law changes or other relevant regulations implemented by the government. The law needs to be taken into account and applied for an effective and compliant work plan.
- Develop contact and coordination cooperation plans and negotiate with relevant government agencies across the country, in order to prevent loss of property, reputation and corporate image by avoid non-compliance or violation of laws.
- Manage, supervise and evaluate the performance of each team, evaluate capabilities and performance, and submit evaluation summaries and recommendations to the senior management of the Business Unit.
- Manage, develop work indicators and safe operation procedures for EHS Management Officer that is responsible for managing each branch and it’s direct employees.
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferrably with experience in Logistic industry.
- Candidate must posses Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience. Logistics business experience is preferred
- There are at least 3 years of inquiry, review, and litigation process experience.
