Job Description

Responsible in performing a variety of Employee Relations tasks that includes observing legal safety regulations, adhering to Philippine general labor standards, helps prevent and resolve problems or disputes between employees and management, deals with employee misconduct, resolving ongoing conflicts, administering case hearing, and assist in creating and enforcing policies that are fair and consistent for everyone in the workplace.
Responsible for counseling management and employees on employee relations issues and investigating and processing claims, cases, complaints and incident reports.
Main Functions:
ER Case Investigation and Counseling
- Obtain information and evidence regarding any complaints, case or claims received; make recommendations to management regarding action to be taken to resolve the issue.
- Counsel employees concerning employee relations issues ensuring established corporate and departmental policies are adhere to
- Advise management staff on proper methods of handling employee relations issues ensuring a complete and thorough understanding of policies
- Know and support corporate and departmental policies regarding employee relations issues
- Review all employee counseling and separation documentation for compliance with policies and procedures
- Properly interpret, communicate and gain acceptance of corporate and departmental policies and procedures by employees and management staff
- Administer admin. hearing and/or case conferences

Supervise deliberation and recommend action to be taken in compliance with policies and procedures

Drafting of NTE,RTWO,NOS and other ER docs.
Clearance Processing / Exit Interviews
- Assist resigned employees in the completion of clearance; monitor clearance and final pay status once transmitted to Finance.
- Conduct all exit interviews for separated employees; follow established interview format ensuring proper documentation of information. Review exit interviews submitted by the employee and notify management immediately of any information obtained in interview which may adversely impact the Company and may need further investigation; prepare and distribute interview notes to designated staff in format established by departmental procedures.
File and Record Maintenance
- Prepare and maintain assigned departmental files (i.e., terminated staff, employees, etc.) in an organized manner; retrieve files as requested by departmental staff; prepare files for off-site storage ensuring files are archived appropriately; perform all file and record maintenance in an accurate and timely manner and according to established departmental policies and procedures
Unemployment/Employment Verification
- Research inactive employee files for employment verification purposes
Risk Management
- Responsible for counseling immediate supervisors and providing them with a course of action; assign case number to each incident report according to established departmental guidelines;
- Responsible for updating incident reports into database in a timely and accurate manner
Project Assistance / Team Interfaces
- Support HR Manager in developing and implementing appropriate corporate and departmental policies
- Handle other ER concerns and produce reports as requested by supervisor
- Prepare reports, material and documentation as requested
- Create and maintain organized project files
- Participate in the activities associated with a variety of departmental projects ensuring established timelines are met
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship with team members and department contacts in order to maintain and continuously strive to improve the level of overall service being provided
- Treat all internal/external customers and team members with dignity/respect

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience w/ handling Employee Relations of relavant exp.
- In-depth knowledge of local laws, labor standard and procedures and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Can present a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Can maintain confidentiality.
- Can create good incident reports, notices, and announcements.
- Can work independently in the absence of immediate supervision.
