Frontend Shopify Developer

Our client are actively being recognised in the NZ and AU eCommerce industry as a studio able to bring the best of both worlds - design-led websites, with conversion driven user experiences.

We are looking for a Frontend Shopify Developer with an eye for design and 4-5 years of experience under their belt to join the team.

Your new Job

• Shopify theme developer using Liquid, Javascript, JQuery, SCSS, and html.
• You will know Shopify inside out, and prioritise scalability, high performance, and security over quick fixes.
• You will work with our Creative Director, Technical Director, as well as developers, and web animators (GSAP), to build themes, bespoke features, and beautiful eCommerce experiences.
• The projects you work on will be submitted for International design and development awards monthly, achieving recognition for your efforts and contribution to the team’s successes.
• You will be involved in coming up with innovative ideas to push eCommerce projects and build technically sound and fast digital experiences.
  

• Shopify 1.0 and 2.0 theme development inside and out.
• Javascript 5+ years
• Liquid + AJAX API - 4+ years
• BEM, SCSS, CSS, HTML, JQuery.
• How to document your code and solutions.
• All JavaScript code is not created equal
• Great experiences are made of stunning interfaces & clever code
• The best products are a combination of design, code and a dash of love.
• Bonus points for experience with headless eCommerce, Sanity, GraphQL and React.
