Job Description
- Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
- Design, create, and implement database systems based on the end user's requirements.
- Improve application's performances.
- Prepare documentations for database applications.
- Memory management for database systems.
- Develop database schemas, tables and dictionaries.
- Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases.
- Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
- Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
- Test databases and perform bug fixes.
- Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexible; 6AM - 8AM onwards) - Manila Time
Work Setup: Open for office-based (Ortigas) and Temporary WFH
Note: An equipment will be provided and shipped by the company. Candidates who will be working from home should have a stable and reliable internet connection
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive experience with SQL engineering using Microsoft SQL Server in a production environment.
- Experience in supporting applications in Java, C++ , C, and .NET framework.
- Create databases with efficient structures.
- Write optimized queries, views, and triggers for integration with other applications.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and integrity.
- Understand issues related to network performance and security.
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools like Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Crystal Reports.
- Experience working on medium to large projects web applications
- The ability to work with a diverse project team, to ensure that the intent of the project is achieved.
- Be able to think several steps ahead to ensure that decisions and actions taken by others contribute into the bigger picture of data quality assurance.
- Have a relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- The ability to work with a diverse project team, to ensure that the intent of the project is achieved.
- Knowledge or experience with communicating with backend services using Angular.
