Job Description
The Trade Development Associate will support the Business Development Executive for retail in establishing our presence in the trade by focusing on monitoring and enhancing the brand’s merchandising position. They will also be part of marketing activities by assisting in the development and create brand awareness.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and AUTHORITIES
- Create reports in competitor activities such as price comparison, promotions, new items and activations (extra displays, cross-merch displays, shelf enhancement, shelf talker)
- Conduct Inventory Report (store and warehouse)
- Conduct Trade Visit Reports
- Required to attend new store openings and ensure Auro’s visibility
- Work with the Business Development team during product sampling and activations in key accounts
- Work with the Marketing team during marketing activities such as events
- Undertakes other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
BASIC RELATIONSHIP
- Provide high level of support to the BDE for Retail
- Work closely with the Business Development Team
- Develop close working relation with store managers / officers in charge
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any four-year course (preferred: Marketing, Business Studies and Management)
- Accepting Fresh Graduates
- Can navigate MS Office and Google Suite well
- Must be results-oriented and should possess strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiar with key account markets or is interested in learning about merchandising
- Persistent and confident in doing field sales work
- Willing to work as required beyond the normal work day
