Job Description
Role Summary:
The Institutional Business Development Officer facilitates new client acquisition and retention efforts by providing proactive advisor and sales support to a sophisticated institutional client base.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The Institutional Business Development Officer's primary responsibility is to support the Head of ATRAM Solutions on all facets of the sales and business development process.
- Identifies new business opportunities with new and existing Institutional Clients;
- Implement sales and marketing strategies of the ATRAM Solutions unit;
- Develop presentations for sales pitches across ATRAM's investment platforms;
- Manage client communication efforts to promote continuous sales dialogue and to build client relationships;
- Assist in identifying client needs and be able to work closely with internal units to provide solutions and communicate these to the customer;
- Build strong relationships across internal product, client service, operations and marketing areas;
- Act as project manager for ad hoc strategic initiatives (Road Shows, Product Launches, Morning Calls, Sales Training, etc.)
- Assists in other administrative tasks needed by the unit, as well as those which may be required by clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Qualified with a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a Business or finance-related subject, or
- marketing, with a knowledge of economics, financial markets and asset management products
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the fields of banking or asset management, particularly in the function of relationship management;
- Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations of the financial markets, asset management and trust industries
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Excellent social and interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills; must speak and write excellent English
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point
