Job Description
- Provide insight into the changing database storage and utilization requirements for the company and offer suggestions for solutions;
- Analyze database implementation methods to make sure they are in line with company policies and any external regulations that may apply
- Create data models for each product
- Improve database performance / optimization via Indexes, rewrite queries and model
- Develop database design and architecture documentation for the management and executive teams
- Integrate a MySQL database into a Business Intelligence software package; and
- Help maintain the integrity and security of the company database.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related field required (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in a data analysis or management role
- Strong experience in databases, tools and methodologies
- Microsoft SQL Server
- AWS Cloud
- Data Analysis, Data Modelling, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, DB design, Big Data
- Knowledge of MySQL, C and PHP languages
- Proven ability to work in distributed systems
- Knowledge and experience of Business Intelligence software solutions;
- Must be able to develop creative solutions to problem
