Assistant Distribution Center Manager  

Responsible for the implementation of the standard procedures in receiving and releasing the merchandise including the monitoring of the performance of both regular and agency hired personnel to ensure positive results.

1. DC OPERATIONS

• Ensures that PO adjustments are based on adjustment forms.
• Coordinates with the DMM about discrepancies encountered during received of merchandise.
• Evaluates DC’s office supplies quantity for each area for preparation of Requisition Slip (RS) and Purchase Order.
• Ensures that shipment or delivery delays and claims due to damage or pilferages are coordinated to Shipping Lines and Forwarders immediately.
• Ensures that shipment reports for provincial stores are sent via MSO immediately after loading.
• Monitors and evaluates liquidation of Dispatch Revolving Fund weekly.
• Evaluates and reviews shipping lines and forwarders rates, including timecards and other billings of the center.
• Oversees all warehouse-related functions including inventory, physical distribution, maintenance and record keeping as well as related functions, and the timely dispatch of the sales invoice, transfer receipt of stocks and requests, efficient monitoring of in-house vehicles, objective and economical choice of forwarders, and control of stocks at all times.
• Evaluates the system of distribution, inventory management, transportation, and route management, outsourcing, warehouse management system, and other supply chain integration initiatives.

2. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• Recommends through personal judgment to hire, transfer, suspend, lay-off, discharge, assign, or discipline employees.
• Plans and leads the personnel in systematically executing their specific tasks.
• Maintains teamwork and high productivity among subordinates and administers the implementation of systems, procedures, and rules and regulations of the company.

3. REPORTORIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prepares and evaluates the monthly report of Distribution Center consolidated operating expenses.
• Ensures paperwork is completed accurately and that all shortages and damages are documented completely.
• Ensures that all billing is prepared and submitted on time.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned by immediate superior.

• With at least 5 Years Supervisory experience or 2 years Managerial Experience in a service-oriented Company
