Job Description
- Responsible for leading procurement activities that will support the initiatives for:
- Marketing and network categories (site and construction, etc) and warehouse requirements
- Accountable in third party spends and targeted savings by building relationships and by managing key stakeholders interface for effective sourcing and procurement i.e. i.e. Engineering contracts, Real Estate contract, Marketing Agencies (ATL, BTL, PR, Media Buy, Fulfillment, Logistics, Market Research & etc) Loyalty and Payment (Credit Cards and other payment cards), and other engineering & marketing initiatives
- Ensure effective delivery of procurement categories (Marketing and Network) and contract management across the business for the organization.
- Provide strong commercial influence in the procurement of all goods and services rendered for the organization
- Maintain sound understanding of the local supply markets in the country, the cost drivers, revenue generation and the major suppliers in all categories.
- Provide local input to Chatime (Principal) regarding various category strategies and support effective implementation and operationalization of strategies/agreements in the country.
- Support various business heads (Global Category Managers, Category Managers,
- Contract Managers & Lead Procurement Manager) in developing and executing the category & procurement strategies within the country based on Category Management & Contracting Process (CMCP).
- Ensure the application of the E2E CMCP process, using rationale and commercial judgment understanding the difference between non-negotiable compliance elements (Safety, local laws, Data Privacy) and Chatime (Principal) operating practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must be a college graduate
- With at least 5 years of contracts & procurement in-business role experience
- Proven leadership skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence people across all levels high integrity and ability to drive change.
- With strong procurement experience i.e. strategy development & execution, negotiations, contract & supplier performance management.
- Familiarity with food and beverage business, preferably with sound understanding of business development & marketing business direction and strategy.
- Proven experience in negotiations with third party vendors and/or customers (commercial experience including planning and executing negotiations).
- Ability to develop and deliver complex deals.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently (self-starter, able to work under their own initiative and problem solve).
- Highly driven and a team player.
