Job Description
- Design and implement strong database design
- Work with a team of experienced software engineers to review existing application database design and implement best practices and approaches
- Database performance champion
- Fulltime position
- Work from home until further notice
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent experience.
- Required skill(s): MS SQL Server
- Minimum of 5 years in-depth experience in database design and development using MS SQL
- Strong knowledge and experience in MS SQL T-SQL, design structures, stored procedures and other database objects)
- High level of understanding of data modeling, design, architecture principles and techniques across master data, transaction data and derived/analytic data
- Adheres data accuracy and database speed at the same time.
- Able to suggest and implement best practices, capacity planning, database security
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Experience in ERP development or SQL Azure is a plus
