The Team
As Canva’s reach continues to skyrocket, we aims to make Canva the go-to place for all design needs on the web. This involves us providing millions of our users with the most in-demand designs, templates, icons, photos and directing them to Canva as their go-to design platform.
About the candidate
We are looking for a Link Building Specialist with a strong relationship/link building background to help grow Canva’s online visibility, making Canva a globally recognized brand in all things design. The ideal candidate will be effective at building relationships with bloggers/influencers using white hat SEO strategies to meet quarterly KPI link targets. This role is important given the need to scale out link building efforts across our growing portfolio of products and platforms.
What you’ll do...
- Acquire high quality links through hands-on link building outreach
- Monitor link acquisition performance, extract learnings and make recommendations
- Perform regular QA checks on the emails sent by the vendor link builders to determine their quality ratings
- Relay crucial team and business updates to relevant stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications

- Good understanding of SEO fundamental
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to think on their feet
- Demonstrate a structured and methodical way of working
- Previous experience documenting work methodology and guidelines
- Previous experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets
