Job Description
- Develops and maintains Swagelok’s strategic position with key owner and EPC firms as well as building business and personal relationships with the management level of key customers.
- Accountable for the achievement of the team’s sales targets, assessing sales achievement-to-date on an ongoing basis to analyze opportunities and improvements.
- Develops the sales strategy and conducts market forecasting to identify short (1 year) and long term (3 years) strategies for each market (in conjunction with Market and Product Managers) with the objective to grow market share. Obtains approval from the management and ensures that sales strategies are implemented throughout the year.
- Manages a team of sales associates and is responsible for resource allocation, training (ensuring that the team is well equipped with product knowledge and its applications, industry knowledge and soft skills in order to engage with clients effectively) and morale (ensuring that the team is engaged and motivated).
- Partners with other departments (e.g. Custom Solutions, Customer Service) to ensure that clients’ concerns are addressed and their needs are met.
