Under the guidance of the Managing Director, Brand Manager is part of the team who is responsible for consumer and market insights, including the ability to analyze market data, and he or she may be tasked with conducting consumer research.
Job Summary:
- Promo and Budget Management
- Develops consumer promo program plan to of National accounts and Distributors that will generate sell-in and sell-out of products, aligned with the thrust of the brand, aligned with the direction of the brand.
- Budget management of the National accounts and Distributors.
- Ensures 100% Promo and Merchandising execution in trade (national or account specific activities).
- Ensure clear and timely communication of launch, re-launch and national consumer promotion information to the field sales force.
- Manages the cost implication of the promotion through close watch on the CTS and ROPS of each promo/activity.
- POS and Trade Execution Management
- Monitors Promotion and Merchandising materials used by the sales force to enhance the presentation of company brands to consumers in-store, in a cost-effective manner.
- Monitor the New Product Introduction process from “First Look” to “On-Shelf”, recommending process changes and adjustments to the Trade Marketing Manager and Brand Manager as required.
- Assists in the development of standard processes for each of the core tasks, document and subsequently update all processes, and maintain records of costs and expenditure.
Minimum Qualifications
Professional Experience and Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Male or Female with pleasing personality
- College graduate, preferably with a background in Marketing and Business related course
- with at least 2-3 years of related work experience in Trade Marketing or Marketing
- Detail Oriented with Excellent Organization Skills
- Demonstrates Critical Thinking, Flexibility, and Resourcefulness
- Can interact with all levels of the organization,
- possesses critical thinking ability
- good administration and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
