Job Description
- Create, implement and manage regional public relations programmes that are in line with company’s vision and business objectives
- Serve as an effective filter for the various business units in helping to determine the credibility, defensibility and news value of Grab messages
- Manage the PR agency according to budget and business requirements
- Proactively promote stories and other publicity opportunities that are advantageous to Grab
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the most influential regional and local media in Philippines
- Create content such as press releases, thought leadership articles, messaging, executive media briefings and speeches for executives
- Field and prioritise requests and media engagements
- Organise and oversee media events
- Effectively manage the response to incidents, issues or crisis situations, and manage programmes to mitigate negative impacts of incidents affecting Grab
- Analyse metrics to determine the output and value of PR results and use the data as a critical planning tool
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Grab business stakeholders and management
- Drive regular planning and reporting meetings with key stakeholders
- Provide communications counsel and media training to relevant spokespeople
- Manage speaking opportunities for executives
- Develop network of third-party advocates and drive sustained programming to leverage third-party credibility for communications
Minimum Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in the PR field
- Required: Corporate reputation management, consumer marketing, media relations, issues management, event planning, business and lifestyle writing
- Good-to-have: social media, integrated marketing
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken), Native Tagalog
- Experience in public relations; in an agency preferred
- Consumer technology sector experience preferred
- Experience working in a regional or global team
- Experience working in a fast-growth company
