Email Marketing Assistant  

Kitchen Warehouse is Australia's largest kitchenware retailer. This role supports the CRM team to build, test and deploy a high volume email program across promotional campaigns, product launches and automated customer journeys. Working under direction from the CRM team, you will manage the email production process from brief to send Full training on Insider One and KWH processes is provided.

Key responsibilities

Process management and campaign production

• Manage the end to end email process for at including: brief intake, build timeline, approvals, scheduling and send in Insider One. We send at least 30 emails per month
• Run the weekly production schedule and chase briefs, copy, assets and approvals from buying, studio and marketing
• Keep the campaign calendar and Asana board current, and flag risks to send dates early
• Assemble emails from the existing modular template library in the Insider One editor, with no coding required, checking mobile and dark mode rendering
• Set up A/B tests on subject lines, preheaders and content as directed

Quality assurance

• Run every send through the KWH email checklist: links, pricing, offer terms, personalisation, rendering across clients
• Send proofs to stakeholders, consolidate feedback and action amends within agreed turnaround times.

Audiences and automation

• Build segments and audience lists to brief, and suppress where required
• Support updates to automated journeys such as welcome, browse and cart abandonment, post purchase and win back
• Keep content blocks, dynamic product feeds and evergreen templates current

Reporting and admin

• Track and report on email performance, flagging results and issues when required
• Other tasks that may be assigned based on business needs
  
  

Skills and Experience


Required

• Confident learning a drag and drop email editor and working from modular templates
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined QA habit
• Excellent written English and clear communication with a remote Australian team
• Comfortable working to daily send deadlines

Desirable
• 1 to 2 years in email, ecommerce or digital marketing
• Hands on use of at least one ESP such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Insider One or Braze
• Experience supporting an Australian or UK retail brand
• Basic segmentation logic and journey building
