Museum Guide and Custodian  

Become a Museum Guide and Custodian for the Quezon City Tourism Department! Join our dynamic team of museum guides at the Quezon City Government that showcases the rich culture and history of our city!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided tours for scheduled and walkin visitors, serving as the primary frontliner and point person of the museum.
• Digitally register walkin guests and assist in managing visitor data and records.
• Act as museum custodians by preparing opening and closing reports on the condition of galleries, facilities, and exhibits. Promptly report maintenance and security concerns.
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of museum programs and activities.
• Contribute to the writing and updating of museum tour scripts and interpretive materials.
• Train and assist museum tour guide interns to ensure consistent tour delivery and visitor service standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, History, Museum Studies, Education, Journalism, Broadcast Communication, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and storytelling skills.
• Friendly, engaging, and serviceoriented personality with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills.
• Passion for history, culture, heritage, and public service.
• Knowledge of Quezon City history, Philippine history, and current events is an advantage.
• Ability to conduct research and verify information through proper factchecking and reliable sources.
• Willingness to work beyond regular office hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.
• Eagerness to learn and participate in specialized trainings, seminars, and professional development programs.
• Experience in museum work, tour guiding, customer service, heritage interpretation, or related fields is an advantage.
