1. Cuts, trims, washes meats, fish, poultry and vegetables for use
2. Assists cooks and assistant cooks by making food items needed in food preparation available
3. Assists in dishing out of food
4. Brings food conveyors to the wards and distributes food ratios
5. Collects all soiled trays used by patients
6. Washes and cleans trays used by patients and other kitchen utensils used by kitchen personnel
7. Cleans dish-out tables and kitchen work areas before and after use
8. Accompanies dietitians in purchasing food supplies
9. Disposes garbage, maintains cleanliness of food preparation and food service equipment and all other areas of dietary

Must be at least High School graduate
