iMPACT Training & Consultancy Services is looking for a Business Development Officer to help us acquire and grow partnerships with businesses in the food, restaurant, bar, retail, and service industries.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident, goal-oriented, and comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers.

What You'll Do:

• Identify and generate leads through phone, online research, field visits, events, and other sales activities.
• Meet with restaurant owners, managers, and business decision-makers to present solutions and close partnerships.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through negotiation, contract signing, and onboarding.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchant partners.
• Conduct merchant onboarding and training, ensuring requirements and documentation are complete.
• Identify opportunities to help partners grow through promotions, business expansion, and additional products and services.
• Work closely with internal teams to address partner needs and ensure a positive client experience.
• Track account information, follow-ups, and performance while working toward individual and team targets.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in sales, business development, account management, or client-facing roles is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in pitching, negotiating, and building relationships.
• Comfortable with fieldwork and face-to-face client meetings.
• Highly motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
• Willing to learn and able to work independently and with a team.
