Accountant  

This role involves the comprehensive management and execution of core financial and accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions, ensuring accurate and timely recording.
• Prepare and publish financial statements on schedule.
• Execute and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings as required.
• Compute taxes and meticulously prepare tax returns to meet regulatory deadlines.
• Oversee and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Assist in the audit of financial transactions and documentation.
• Maintain strict compliance with financial policies and regulations.

This role is critical for maintaining the financial integrity of the organization and requires a strong commitment to accuracy and regulatory adherence.

• 1-3 years' experience in accounting with basic knowledge for taxation and audit practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information including analyzing documents for accounting interpretation.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and comfortable with data entry and record-keeping
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Relevant certification (e.g. CPA) will be considered a plus
