The Trade Marketing Assistant Manager plays a key supporting role in ensuring strong brand visibility and shopper conversion across retail channels. This role helps execute in-store activations, out of store activations, promotional campaigns, and merchandising programs, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and retail partners to drive sell-out and elevate the shopper experience. The position requires attention to detail, cross-functional coordination, and a passion for bringing marketing plans to life on the ground.
1. Trade Marketing Execution & Support
- Assist in implementing trade marketing strategies and initiatives to support brand
- objectives at the point of sale.
- Work with Sales and Marketing teams to cascade campaign mechanics to field
- teams and ensure clear execution guidelines.
- Monitor and support in-store execution of nationwide retail programs and activations.
2. Retail Activation Support
- Coordinate and support the rollout of shopper marketing campaigns, including new product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand initiatives.
- Work with external agencies and field teams to ensure timely setup of displays, POP materials, and event fixtures.
- Conduct store visits and post-activation checks to validate execution, merchandising compliance, and brand standards.
- Gather and consolidate feedback from retail partners, customers, and field teams for post-activation analysis.
3. POS Materials and Merchandising
- Manage the production, inventory, and distribution of point-of-sale materials and retail collaterals.
- Ensure merchandising guidelines are implemented effectively across stores and banners.
4. Market Insights and Data Support
- Collect and analyze sell-out data, shopper trends, and market insights to improve activation strategies.
- Support preparation of performance reports and trade marketing scorecards for internal reviews.
5. Event and Campaign Coordination
- Assist in organizing and executing retail events, product demonstrations, and distributor trade shows.
- Handle logistics, agency coordination, and onsite support to ensure smooth event execution.
6. Cross-Functional & Retailer Collaboration
- Collaborate with Supply Chain for timely delivery of materials; with Sales for store-level priorities; and with Brand for alignment on messaging.
- Coordinate with retail partners and store personnel to maintain excellent in-store execution.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in trade marketing, retail activation, or related field marketing roles
- Experience working with sales teams, third-party agencies, and retail partners
- Familiarity with retail activation cycles, event logistics, and POS compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge in data tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel pivot tables) is a plus
