The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for Beyond Spaces Ventures Inc. This role supports the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded, monitored, and reported in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project-based environment.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Record and monitor all incoming and outgoing transactions including supplier payments, client collections, and project-related expenses
- Prepare and send statements of account (SOAs) and follow up on outstanding client balances
- Process supplier invoices and coordinate payment schedules with the procurement team
- Maintain an updated accounts receivable ledger and flag overdue accounts to management
General Bookkeeping
- Record daily transactions accurately in the company's accounting system or spreadsheets
- Maintain organized filing of all financial documents including official receipts, invoices, purchase orders, and delivery receipts
- Reconcile bank statements against company records on a regular basis
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Tax & Government Compliance
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR returns (e.g., 2550M, 2550Q, 1601C, 1701Q)
- Monitor deadlines for BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG submissions and ensure timely compliance
- Assist in the preparation of documents for external audits or BIR examinations
General Administrative Support
- Coordinate with the sales, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate billing and cost documentation
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by management
Kualifikasi Minimum
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field
- CPA license is not required
Experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience in a construction, interior design, fit-out, or trading company is a strong plus
- Prior experience handling BIR compliance and government remittances is preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is an advantage
- Familiarity with BIR eFPS or eBIRForms filing system
- Basic understanding of Philippine taxation and accounting standards
