Accountant (Treasury)

The Accountant - Treasury monitors the cash flow of the company, prepares financial forecast and communicate to the bank for all transactions related to the in and out of the company funds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Treasury and Cash Management
• Prepare checks and facilitate issuance, checking completeness and validity of official receipts and other supporting documents
• Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow
• Forecast daily cash requirements and executes daily financing decisions
• Manage long-term and short-term investments
• Maintain good relationships with banks and completes necessary documentation
• Monitor bank service fees, charges, interests and taxes
• Perform bank reconciliation and make necessary accounting recording to books of accounts
• Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements
• Prepare reports including but not limited to weekly cash position, cash flow projection, collection and payment monitoring, or any other reports that may be necessary in relation to cash flow

Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field

Related Work Experience - At least 2- 3 years experience in related field

Knowledge – Knowledgeable in PFRS, PAS and other Philippine GAAP; and bank processes and policies

Technical Skills – Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
