<p>The Senior Tax Reviewer will lead the technical review and quality control of business tax returns, including Partnerships (1065), S Corporations (1120-S), C Corporations (1120), Trusts &amp; Estates (1041), and Tax-Exempt Organizations (990). This role ensures technical accuracy, compliance with current tax law, and opportunities for planning are consistently identified.</p>

<h3><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></h3>

	<li>Review complex federal and state income tax returns for:

		<li>Partnerships, LLCs</li>
		<li>S Corporations and C Corporations</li>
		<li>Trusts and Estates</li>
		<li>Nonprofit Organizations (990s)</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IRS and state tax laws, primarily California.</li>
	<li>Mentor, train, and provide review notes for junior and mid-level tax staff.</li>
	<li>Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to partners and clients.</li>
	<li>Assist with year-end tax projections and advisory deliverables as needed.</li>
	<li>Maintain client relationships with professionalism and proactive communication.</li>
	<li>Stay up to date with tax law changes and train staff accordingly.</li>
	<li>Support implementation of internal review procedures and quality controls.</li>
	<li>Use tax software such as [e.g., UltraTax, Lacerte, ProConnect, CCH Axcess] and workflow tools like [e.g., Karbon, Jetpack, Canopy].</li>
