Quezon City is a vast and teeming city with a steadily increasing income and occupation of one-third of Metro Manila’s total land area. It now serves as the Philippines’ government center with the legislature and other important government offices located in its area. All of these are reminiscent of the same noble dream that brought forth the creation of the City.

Quezon City is situated on the northeast portion of Metro Manila. It is bounded on the north by Caloocan City and San Jose del Monte City in Bulacan Province, on the east by San Mateo and Marikina, on the south by Pasig and Mandaluyong, San Juan and Manila, and on the west by Valenzuela, Caloocan, and Manila. Its northeastern and eastern boundaries are defined by the Novaliches Watershed and the Marikina River. With an area of 16,112.58 hectares (based on 1995 GIS graphical plot), it is the largest among the sixteen (16) cities and one (1) municipality in the region and is almost one-fourth the size of Metro Manila.

Quezon City Local Government

1. In the absence of the assistant Division Head, takes charge of the function and responsibilities, discipline of personnel and dental graduates on training upon the recommendation of the Chief Dentist; 

2. Makes diagnosis, plans and treats. Perform dental cases and supervises Dentist in major operation in the absence of a higher Dental Surgeon; does minor and major operation such as new growth, fixation of sensible and auxiliary fracture secondary to accidents and pathological cases; manages and evaluates disease with oral cavity manifestation; 

3. Attends to emergency cases during office hours; manages hospital-in-patient with dental problems; attends to referral coming from health center Dentist and private of such cases as removal impacted tooth, fractured root secondary to extraction; 

4. Prevention Services such as promotion of oral health to preschool, school children, pre-natal and nursing mother; specific prevention and curative services; 

5. Requisition and receive dental equipment, supplies and materials and maintains procedural cleanliness of dental clinic; 

6. Prepares schedule of duties of dental personnel; rates performance record of personnel; 

7. Submit a monthly, semi- annual an annual report to records section.

	<li>Assist the resource speakers in the medical staff meeting or in scientific meetings in projection during presentation of their topics with audio visual slides</li>
	<li>Attends to the sound system during meetings</li>
	<li>Provide and assist the either department who request for the overhead and slide projectors to be used in discussion and lectures</li>
	<li>Attend to the safekeeping and maintenance of audio-visual apparatus and sound system in case of malfunctioning, report and request repair of said apparatus to the engineering department</li>
	<li>Provides music and sound system during hospital programs and other social activities</li>
	<li>Assist the resource speakers meeting of other hospital outside the training room for projection and providing sound system</li>
