Job Description
- Monitors, records data, and checks status, benefits and medical records and admitted patients.
- Explains the benefits and limitations of coverage to the admitted patients during confinement and assists patient upon discharge by computing the chargeable expenses and facilitating the Philhealth deduction.
- Establishes and maintains a harmonious relationship with the coordinator, accredited physicians and significant work units of accredited hospitals/clinics
- Attends to all medical service availment inquiries/concerns
- Provides assistance/ support in the following:
- Negotiation of Healthcare business
- Coordinating the schedule of the Annual Physical Examination in the designated clinics
- Conducting program orientation to a hospital, doctor, and clients
- Identifying, soliciting, and servicing the Healthcare's corporate accounts
- Participates in the accreditation of Healthcare provider
- Collects consultations and referral forms from plan coordinators and specialist
- Distributes check payment s to providers
- Performs other dutied as may be assigned by superior
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 year College Graduate
- Registered or non-registered Nurse
- With or without experience handling medical insurance claims
- Above average typing skills, knowledge in computer operations
- Willing to travel
