CHIEF ARCHITECT

The Chief’s Architect’s primary responsibility is to define and implement a robust architecture for Talino products, and its portfolio startup’s products. The role is responsible for ensuring best practices for system design and development are applied, as well as providing technology leadership and support for the development of scalable, secure, flexibly deployed, and extensible solutions. The role provides technical expertise for proof of concepts and provides consultation and support to project teams, customers and other architects.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Drive improvement and optimization of underlying architecture and capabilities.
• Define technical principles, processes, policies, and standards for product development. Work with engineering teams to ensure processes, policies, and standards are enforced.
• Drive innovation by applying suitable technologies and tools. Test, evaluate and recommend technologies to improve the overall product.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the product requirements to formulate appropriate architecture required to provide system functionality, deciding when to advocate and when to compromise to arrive at a mutually acceptable solution.
• Ensure all stakeholders understand the approach to achieving the product requirements through the technology roadmap. Should be able to communicate clearly and concisely the product’s architecture and relevant technical aspects.
• Ensure product compliance with regulations, standards and requirements.
• Work with the information security officer to ensure that security policies and features are incorporated into product design.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural design, support development and delivery of products, and implement systematic leveraging and reuse of components. Be hands-on as necessary.
• Mentor and train the architecture, and engineering team to help foster necessary skill sets, and build understanding of product architecture and capabilities.
• Undertake other relevant duties at the request of the Chief Technology Officer or the Chief Executive Officer

• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;

• Proven work experience as Technical Architect or Project Manager for atleast 3 years

• Hands-on experience in software development and system administration

• Knowledge of strategic IT solutions.
