We are looking for an outstanding backend web developer who can create and work on the backend part of the digital platforms used by StraightArrow and its clients. Part of his/her responsibilities would be to provide website maintenance
and enhancements, integrate templates with consistent stylesheets on Web Development Frameworks and/or Content Management Systems.
Main Roles and Accountabilities
- Execution of Creative Technology’s processes at standards
- Maintain capabilities required at Specialist level
- Day-to-day client communications
- Quality work within standard TAT
- Learn & deploy client & SA tools correctly with assigned platform/CMS needed for the project
- Integrate static web pages into assigned platform/CMS
- Develop, maintain and execute SQL queries
- Can meet the hours and deadline that have been set for each project and task with assigned platform/CMS needed for the project

Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
- Preferably 1-3 years of relevant back end developing and database handling
- Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and modern PHP libraries/frameworks
- Has an experience in working on and navigating PHPMyAdmin and understands the basic design patterns in PHP
- Able to do basic/simple MySQL queries
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented Concepts and working with basic usages of MVC frameworks
- Good understanding of Web APIs
- Capable of working concurrently on several projects
- Has the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Has strong attention to details
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Willing to learn and accept new challenges
- Fluent in English and has strong comprehension skills
- Can work with either AU (6am - 3pm), UK (4pm - 1am) or US (9pm-6am) shift
