Ethics Officer - GLOBAL CITY  

The Ethics Officer shall be primarily responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the Ethics program of Corporate Compliance Group.

Key Functions:

1. Serves as the lead person in promoting the Ethics culture in SLMC through trainings and communication programs. Collaborate with different department in strengthening the Ethics culture.

2. Creation and monitoring of effective Ethics policies and framework.

3. Management of whistle blowing platforms.

a. Initiate endorsement of the case

b. Oversee development and closing of the case.

4. Management and implementation of Ethics policies such as conflict of interest, non-retaliation, bribery, gift-giving policies, etc.

5. Measure and report status of ethical culture such as risk assessment, survey, focus groups, questionnaires, etc.

6. Assist in planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing the activities of the ERM office.

7. Perform other tasks that may be assigned to help in the achievement of the ERM office

• Experience/Education Requirements:

  1. Graduate of any 4-year course from a reputable school

  2. Experience in module development and training is a must.

  3. Exposure to ethics-related work gained from the healthcare, banking, academe, manufacturing, and other sectors a plus.

• Skills/Competencies and Personal Attributes:

1. Advanced, demonstrated knowledge on the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a must
2. Demonstrated critical thinking ability and reasonable judgment
3. Demonstrated know-how in business writing, drafting policies, quality procedures, and process design is required
4. Basic knowledge in qualitative research.
5. Demonstrated confidence in public speaking
6. Demonstrated ability to identify risks and possible actions
7. Exhibited professionalism and work ethics
8. Must be a self-starter, quick to learn, able to deliver results with minimal supervision
9. Above-average people skills
10. Strong sense of urgency
