Job Description

  • Assist the Corporate Communications Manager in the delivery of corporate-level communications campaigns, publications, and media relations in building the Medical Center’s reputation.
    • These includes the management of the web-site, exhibitions, special events, corporate advertising, and literature – in congruence with the Medical Center’s goals.
  • Coordinate with assigned unit for the planning and development of corporate communications requirements (articles, brochures, patient and family education materials, etc).
  • Participate in meetings to plan the communication activities, reports on these activities and helps determine timetables for activities and projects.
  • Contribute to policy formulation by providing strategic advice and participates in lobbying activities in relation to legislative issues and concerns.
    • Assist in planning and monitoring of targeted communications campaigns.
  • Contribute where appropriate in formulating and updating standards, policies and procedures which complies with agreed best practices
  • Conceptualize and develop news and feature stories for publication and press release.
  • Implement and oversee communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products and services, through the implementations of appropriate communications strategies to ensure that a positive image of the Medical Center is maintained.
  • Conduct research and analysis of the issues and opportunities which exist within the various internal and external publics and interpret these issues and opportunities to management.
  • Participate in a wide scope of corporate communications activities including production of corporate collateral such as annual reports, dispatch of press releases, and organization of various events like shareholder meetings and media conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 1 year experience in corporate communications, journalism, marketing, account handling, customer / public relations, and special event coordination.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledgeable in basic marketing and business management principles.
  • Ability to research, develop, and write high-quality media relations’ products and materials.
