Head of Construction  

Job Mission / Objective (s)

• To oversee and manage construction projects for expansion, relocation, or renovation of all new and existing warehouse clubs and offices
• To collaborate with the project planning team to plan the scope and design of each project, develop a budget and timeline, and select the best vendors and subcontractors
• To ensure production is proceeding efficiently and meeting deadlines

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinating with architects and engineers during the planning and design phase to ensure that construction plans meet code requirements
• Managing all aspects of a construction project, including scheduling work crews and subcontractors, arranging for materials and supplies, and ensuring that work is completed according to schedule and within budget
• Developing budgets and managing costs to ensure that construction projects are completed within budget guidelines
• Working with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that all materials meet industry standards and regulations
• Ensuring that all contractors’ work sites are always safe and clean
• Ensuring that construction projects are completed on time and within budget
• Overseeing all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and subcontractors, ordering materials, managing budgets, and resolving disputes
• Managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, including planning, estimating costs, obtaining permits, hiring labor, overseeing operations, and final inspection
• Making sure that all construction projects meet health and safety codes, environmental regulations, and building codes

• Degree holder of Civil Engineering, licensed
• At least 10 years of experience in Construction & Design
• At least 10 years of experience in Construction Site Management
• Skilled in People Management
