An enthusiastic developer ready to be the backbone of our platform, with enough creativity to turn a concept into something that helps our customers be amazing. You make sure you truly understand the product you’re working on and have a history of proven initiative: turning a small spark of an idea into something beautiful and functional.

THE ROLE IS

Plann is looking for an intermediate-level developer to take hold of our platform and manage it from go to WHOA! We want someone with experience in PHP and back-end environments, as well as a good handle on front-end development - even if it’s not your core competency.

You’ll need a creative streak to take the business decisions and turn them into valuable features that our customers love - sprinkling plenty of your own magic before it ships. You’ll be working with our existing team of mobile and platform developers and an array of great people that help keep Plann ticking (pretty fast).

Your schedule will primarily be about building out new features for the web and making sure Plann continues to keep humming behind the scenes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience Web Development
  • Experience with Node.js, Laravel or a similar framework
  • Understanding of REST APIs, MySQL and sensible database structures
  • Experience with deployment to, and maintenance of an AWS environment
  • Knowledge of technologies like NPM and SCSS
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS, including frameworks like Bootstrap
  • Experience collaborating and working with other developers
  • Experience with Vue, React or a similar JavaScript frameworks a bonus
