Job Description

Ralph’s Wines and Spirits is a family-owned wines and spirits retail company in the Philippines, established in 1975 by the Joseph brothers. We offer a collection of blockbuster brands from some of the planet’s top vineyards, distilleries, and breweries complemented with professional and personalized service. We own and manage our own e-commerce website along with fifteen physical wine bottle-shops in Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, Boracay Island, Subic, and Clark and still growing.

Ralph’s Wines & Spirits is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager in a full-time position to oversee and manage all digital media pages for our website and brands. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for all things related to the digital pages such as posting, scheduling, ads, providing reports on page performance, and analytics. He/she must also strategize with the Marketing Director and the Digital Marketing Team on marketing campaigns and events. We are looking for a consummate professional and detail-oriented individual.

Social Media Manager duties and responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees all aspects of multiple digital social media pages.
  • Manages and helps to develop all social media content.
  • Develops, implements, and manages social media strategies and plans.
  • Reports directly to Ownership, Marketing Director, and Operations Manager.
  • Reports analytics of social media pages.
  • Works with Digital Mktg. team (copywriter, graphic designers, etc.) to ensure content is informative, accurate, and appealing.
  • Collaborates with Sales Team and Marketing Team.
  • Provides reports on the efficacy of social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Communicates with brand representatives, partners, and suppliers regarding marketing strategies and implementation.
  • Uses current social media tools to assist in organization, analytics, and reporting.
  • Stays current with social events, trends, technologies, and best practices as it relates to social media.
  • Monitors SEO and user engagement and suggests content optimization.
  • Communicates with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Adheres to all deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

Social Media Manager requirements and qualifications

  • Degree in marketing or related field
  • 2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, Google Ads, and other social media related tools and platforms
  • Proficient with analyzing data and reporting pertinent social media KPI’s
  • Flexibility with job tasks to assist team members; team player
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to problem solve digitally related problems and provide solutions in area of expertise
  • Great interpersonal, networking, and communication skills
  • Ability to use social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office applications, web design, and user experience
