Job Description

The Customer Analytics Manager is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the Customer Analytics Unit of Customer Experience Department and of all administrative and analytical support to internal and external stakeholders regarding the provision and analysis of data that is then shared in the optimal manner.

The role will closely work and report to the Customer Experience Head.

Oversee Analytics Team

  • The Champion in creating a data culture and data literacy within the organization, which may include education, support, and development of organization-wide standards;
  • Participates in internal and external strategic planning and to develop strategies that are in response to PETNET’s needs;
  • Understands the business requirements and technical language and works with developers to write and read complex queries within SQL/ Python Web/ Data Warehouse Platforms;
  • Creates collaborative Data Team environment with cross-coverage of critical functions;
  • Creates, validates, and implements detailed reports, dashboards and other tools to help address the priority areas for understanding, monitoring, and evaluating interventions that address homelessness;
  • Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and administration tasks as required by the Customer Experience Head;

Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and/or participate in data related meetings with both internal and external teams;
  • Support Business Units especially revenue groups, customer service and marketing by creating accurate analytics reports measuring valuable insight into customers’ behavior and preferences to help in making relevant business decisions;
  • Prepare and present data visualization reports or narratives based on provided specifications to the Department Leaders and the Management;

Data Analytics

  • Apply a range of mathematical, statistical, predictive modeling, and other analytical techniques and with sensitivity to the limitations of the techniques;
  • Mine, generate and analyze small to large datasets from multiple systems using appropriate tools;
  • Develops data hypotheses and methods, trains and evaluates analytics models, shares insights and findings, and continues to iterate with additional data;
  • Apply ethical and robust techniques in the transformation of data from one format/medium to another, in line with organizational policies and procedures and being sensitive to risks around the use of information;

Project Management

  • In-charge of various Analytics Team project management, identify the requirements and expected results, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor progress, and documentation;
  • Lead the project or strategy execution and monitoring related to Customer Analytics;

Training

  • A subject-matter expert in Customer Analytics, the candidate will mentor associates and will participate in enterprise-wide analytics program to upskill employees;
  • Participate in Aboitiz Data innovation initiatives such as trainings and other projects;

People Development

  • Builds the capabilities of the Analytics team by proactively managing the performance and competency development of each team member;
  • Implements Performance Management of team members from performance, planning, monitoring, evaluation, and improvement to ensure career progression;
  • Clarifies the roles, responsibilities and KPIs of each team member are understood to ensure achievement of targets; reviews and initiates modification as business requires;
  • Trains and mentors team members in the execution of their duties, ensuring constant improvement in their professional skills, and preparing them for succession planning;
  • Motivates, inspires and disciplines, when needed, team members to maximize their potentials and capabilities; and
  • Create an atmosphere of respect, trust and accountability among team members to facilitate analytical, problem-solving and innovative thinking; and
  • Candidate must be willing to work in a hybrid setup.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Statistics or equivalent;
  • Technical experience in data analysis, data management, data modeling, and design, programming, and data visualization for at least 2 years;
  • Leadership: Experience supervising staff and developing a supportive and productive team environment;
  • The candidate must be enthusiastic about innovation initiatives through improvements in the department's business process;
  • systematic and logical approach to problem-solving;
  • Highly organized in the delivery and quality of outputs and reports;
  • Ensure quality checks of improvement projects within area of responsibility and expertise using the PDCA methodology (Plan, Do Check, Action);
  • Confident and comfortable in conducting presentations to multiple stakeholders and leaders in the Company; and
  • Tools: Proficient in R, Python, SQL, data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlik Sense, and Google Data Studio; and
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner to groups with varying levels of technical expertise, as well as ability to listen and learn contextual information from others.
