Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Assistant HR Manager shall be expected to deliver on various HR functions with minimal supervision.
Key tasks include:
- Lead all recruitment efforts of the company to support the expansion of the Operations team
- Provide direction to the HR Account Executives to fully support the HR needs of the Ninja Van hubs in various parts of the Philippines
- Ensure company is compliant to all government mandated labor laws, especially on compensation and benefits regulations
- Ensure compliance among office based employees and delivery personnels to internal company policies and handle disciplinary cases, as necessary.
Other tasks include:
- Support the Head of HR in culture building, performance and career management, policy development and compliance, and engagement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years progressive experience in Human Resources
- At least 1 year supervisory role; Proven people management experience
- Strong recruitment experience; Knowledgeable in modern recruitment platforms
- At least 1 year experience in payroll and timekeeping and benefits administration
- Above average knowledge in Labor Law
- Experience in handling labor cases is a MUST
- Experience in appearing before the special courts of law is a MUST
- Above average communication skills, both verbal and written
- High comfort level in using MS Excel, PPT or equivalent google programs (GSlides, GSheets)
- Tech savvy; Experience in using online project management applications preferred
