We are looking for an additional member of our Business Development Team to take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and have a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.
Job Responsibilities
- Compile sales leads and maintains a consistently healthy pipeline.
- Cold calls and/or emails to potential clients.
- Schedule and conduct a targeted number of face-to-face meetings with prospective clients each week.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
- Gather requirements and draft business proposals.
- Develop strategic sales plans and present them to the management.
- Analyze Business Processes review spending habits, marketing, and branding efforts, as well as factors that can have an influence on the performance and business process of the company.
- Design and execute key marketing/lead generation programs which include content creation, management of marketing collateral and company digital platforms, market research, SEO for the company website, and sales tools/templates development.
- Submit accurate and timely pipeline reports.
- Adequately cover client executives to ensure high customer satisfaction ratings by championing their interests at MaroonStudios and its principals.
- Presentation of introductory and solution/proposal decks to clients.
- Proper and timely documentation of all client/principal meetings.
- Perform such other tasks and duties as may be assigned to him from time to time by management, in relation to the position, for the company, and/or for the assigned project
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Extensive eperience in IT sales and business development; minimum of 5 years.
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
