Job Description
- Creates, implements, and measures the success of:
- a comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations program that will enhance brand image and position within the marketplace and general public, and facilitate internal and external communications; and,
- all marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including publications and media relations
- Implements group-wide marketing plans and communication programs utilizing available media including publications and internet-based technologies.
- Works closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with
- appropriate tools, materials and presentations
- Guides the day to day activities of the marketing team.
- Undertakes continuous analysis of competitive environment and industry trends.
- Implements marketing activities and programs
- Develops short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/PR programs and its activities, monitors
- progress, assures adherence and evaluate performance.
- Develops, implements and monitors systems and procedures necessary to the successful operation of the marketing function.
- Ensures effective management within the marketing team through coaching, mentoring, completing performance reviews and
- annual appraisals.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned form time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years experience in Marketing, Sales, Public Relations and Events organizing
- Miminum 5 years managerial position in marketing
- Graduate of Marketing, Business Management or related field
- Strong understanding of the business, customer and market dynamics; Excellent communication skills; customer-handling skills,
- Possesses effective leadership skills; Project management; familiarity with automotive industry an advantage
