Senior Accounting Associate  

The Senior Accounting Officer is expected to ensure that payments to vendors and/or employees are prepared and paid within a reasonable amount of time, while complying with the standard operating procedures related to these matters. He/she should be able to manage expectations of vendors regarding the payment schedule while maximizing credit terms.

Responsibilities:

• Review billing and invoices for proper approval and documentation prior to payment processing
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policies and best practices in accounting
• Match invoices to checks, obtain appropriate signatures and release checks within the prescribed dates as per Company policies
• Prepares appropriate tax forms in relation to vendor payments
• Reconcile vendor statements, analyze and correct discrepancies
• Review reimbursements, cash advances, and replenishments against valid supporting documentation before processing payments
• Assists in month-end closing and other projects, as needed

• Proficient in MS Office and accounting applications
• Has proficient knowledge of accounting standards and tax principles
• Detail-oriented and has effective communication skills
• With strong organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any related course
• Those with experience in related work are preferred
