Kalibrr Teaching Assistant  

Kalibrr offers class teaching opportunities for students who are currently located in Indonesia. Selected candidates will become a part of an exciting 3 months-long training program that teaches its students English skills for basic business communications, which include the following 3 courses: Speaking Correspondence, Business Presentation, and Expressing Opinion.

Throughout the program, each teaching assistant will be responsible to lead 30 fully-online classes, each of which will last for 90 minutes. Every class will have at maximum 20 students who have basic understanding of spoken and written English.

The teaching program will begin in February and end in May 2022. Kalibrr will assign the assistant’s schedule once you are selected.

As a teaching assistant, you are expected to:

• Complete all 30 classes as assigned. You will need to provide a screenshot of you delivering the class to Kalibrr upon the completion of every class.
• Facilitate the class entirely in English using the teaching materials and guidance provided by Kalibrr.
• Attend the mandatory training sessions to prepare you for the classes.
• Should be able to commit themselves for a total of 45 hours. Due to the 1-hour time difference between Indonesia and the Philippines, classes could be conducted throughout the day and in the evening.
• Be able to communicate well, guide and motivate the students to be confident in speaking during the classes.
• Pay extra attention to the learning content that the students struggle with.
• Provide feedback, solutions, and suggestions on how to improve students’ English proficiency.
• Encourage student interactions and maintain a positive class atmosphere from start to finish.
• Uphold Kalibrr’s positive reputation among the students.
• Engage with Kalibrr representatives on how to improve the class delivery even more.

• Final year university students or recent university graduates.
• Majoring in Education, English Literature, or related fields is preferred.
• Prior experience in delivering training or teaching courses is a plus.
• Committed to learning and mastering all learning modules provided by Kalibrr.
