Job Description
As an SEO Specialist you'll identify strategies, techniques and tactics to increase the number of visitors to a website and obtain a high-ranking placement in the results page of search engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all SEO activities such as keyword research and implementation, content strategy, and link building to increase rankings on all major search networks (e.g., Google, Yahoo, Bing)
- Execute A/B tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in PPC or paid search campaigns
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Develop optimization strategies and set measurable goals that increase the company's search engine results rankings
- Track, report, and analyze website and landing pages' analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, growth, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- Working knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development or other content management systems
- Uses qualitative and quantitative analysis to guide SEO strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
