Job Description
- Conducting market research and identifying potential vets, clinics and pet health institutions.
- Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database.
- Working closely with staff across departments to implement business and vet growth strategies.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies, vet service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
- Takes the lead with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Identify new business opportunities and partners.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and creative-problem solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop, manage and communicate information in a clear, organized, and highly persuasive manner
- Ability to hold your own in meetings with various heads and C-suite representatives; and speak as a thought-leader and visionary in the creator economy space
- Entrepreneurial drive and comfort working autonomously and as part of a team in ambiguous, quickly-changing environments
- Must have a mastery of using Google Workspace (particularly Google Slides and Google Sheets) in crafting stunning presentations and easy-to-comprehend reports pertinent to the project
- Data-driven when making key decisions relevant to the partnerships
Desired Education and Experience
- Minimum of 7 tp 10 years experience in business development and sales
- Bachelor’s degree from a well-respected university
- Must own pets
- Experience in healthcare and pet healthcare is a must
