Job Description
- The scheduling tools team is responsible for schedule administration across all tools and platforms.
- The team is responsible for tool administration which includes user admin, agent installation, tool configuration, tool integration, DR recovery, and lifecycle management (installation, patching, and upgrades) for all UNIX and Windows platforms.
- The team is also responsible for scripting to automate and integrate the below tools with event management and service management tools, security audit tools, and others.
- The team supports multiple large scale commercial and custom scheduling solutions for a demanding Fortune 50 customer.
Minimum Qualifications
- The candidate will be expected to be the technical SME for AutoSys on UNIX.
- The candidate will be responsible for L2 functions such as job creation/modifications, calendar creation/modification, user administration, agent installation, and L2 troubleshooting of job execution issues.
- The candidate will also be responsible for L3 functions such as software installation, patching, cross-functional coordination with other infrastructure teams such as hosting, database, storage, and network to manage the scheduling infrastructure to ensure adequate HA and DR solutions are implemented and tested.
- The candidate is expected to have sound knowledge on Cloud-based / Azure implementation knowledge in Autosys
- Candidates will also be expected to learn other commercial and custom tools listed above to provide backup coverage within the team.
- Candidates will be expected to participate in the team, vendor, and customer meetings.
- Candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates will be required to follow all Client and customer processes and procedures.
- Candidates will be required to participate in an on-call schedule for off-shift support.
- Candidates must have a solid working knowledge of UNIX and Windows.
- Experience with UNIX scripting (Bourne shell, Korn shell, CSH, or Perl) is desired.

- BMC Control-M (UNIX with SAP integration) (50%).
- CA AutoSys (UNIX) (20%).
- CA ESP (z/OS) (10%).
- CA ESP (UNIX) (5%).
- BMC Control-M (z/OS) (5%).
- IBM TWS (UNIX) (5%).
- Custom UNIX based solutions (5%).
