Job Description
We are looking to hire a commendable Food and Beverage Director that will oversee the daily operations of restaurant and hotel kitchen. This may include hiring, training, and overseeing kitchen staff, and ensuring a high-quality, cost-effective product. Top candidate must be creative, service-oriented, and level-headed.
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
- Coordinating cooks' tasks.
- Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
- Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.
- Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
- Hiring and training kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwashers.
- Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.
- Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.
- Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Has experience in managing multiple restaurant outlets.
- Experience in Asian cuisine, preferable Chinese, Filipino, Japanese and Singaporean.
- Has xxperience in setting up new restaurant/s.
- Adept in all aspects of the restaurant operations.
- Proficient in Cost Management.
- Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.
- Willing to be assigned in Batangas City.
