Job Description
- Participate in maintaining and managing the IP/MPLS backbone.
- New Service Provisioning – (Products IP, MPLS, GIA, MRS, Satellite, Transmission, Wireless)
- Equipment preparation
- Network testing i.e. transmission links Network configuration (create transmission paths, PE-CE configurations)
- Network design assistance (low level designs)
- Deployment of client/network services (remote/onsite)
- Smart hands to other teams i.e. Engineering
- Administration (update internal systems/project related documentation & feedback)
- Ad hoc and other scheduling
- Attend to urgent cases on-site (unplanned dispatches at short notice to resolve critical issues)
- Preventive maintenance trips (scheduled)
- Other tasks / functions that may be assigned by the Company as per business requirement. These may change from time to time to reflect the changing requirement of your position and our business.
- Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- At least Three (3) Years of relevant working experience
- Amenable to working shifting schedules
- Strong experience in IP / MPLS Network Technology
- CCNP or CCIE is a must
- Knowledge and /or Certification in Juniper is an advantage
- Good written and verbal communication
- Willingness for after-hours on-call duty
