Account Receivable Officer  

The Accounts Receivable Officer plays an integral role in the successful day-to-day back office operations of the business. He / she is responsible for ensuring the recording and reporting of monthly and annual revenues are accurate and prepared on time. He / she will also oversee tracking of revenue, preparations of billings, and ensuring payments are received and accurately recorded. He / She is an integral role in the successful day to day operations of a business.

He / She is accountable for creating billing statements on time, monitoring collections, reflecting all day-to-day transactions in the accounting system and analyzing ageing of collectibles.

• Perform reconciliation of Accounts Receivable
• Safekeeping and tracking of fully signed CEs (Masterfile)
• Monitor aging and follow up payment from clients.
• Identify accounts that have reached critical level of ageing and work on their collection.
• Prepare and submit accurately various AR reports:
  • Cash Receipts Journal
  • Sales Journal
  • Signed CEs and Billing Monitoring Sheet
  • Schedule of Billing- including monthly allocation
  • Monthly VAT Schedule for sales and eSub filing
  • Bank Reports
  • Monthly BNSR Reports
• Monthly Bank Reconciliation
• Monthly Submission of SOA to all clients with outstanding balances.
• Posting of AR transactions in Quickbooks Accounting System
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Graduate of any Finance / Accounting degree or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word)
• With at least 1-3 years working experience in Accounting
  • With experience in Accounts Receivable – billing and collection
• With knowledge in running/working with an accounting system software
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills
• Disciplined, self starter with the ability to work independently, managing time effectively.
• Organized, detail-oriented and accurate
• Able to communicate across different levels in the organization, as well as to external stakeholders

Nice-To-Have

• Tax reporting experience in filing and compliance
• Quickbooks system knowledge a plus
• Ability to create processes, close any gaps, and document new SOPs
• Experience managing direct reports
