Job Description

The Human Resource Associate plays a vital role supporting the Human Resource Department in its efforts for effective and efficient recruitment, employee engagement, training and retention and in keeping a healthy company culture.
He or she will also help achieve company compliance with various government-related requirements through proper documentation and processes. He or she plays an important role in bridging an open and harmonious relationship between the employees and the company.
The HR Associate has the following responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Maintains applications, resumes, and applicant logs
- Handles the recruitment efforts by managing various job portals, reviewing and paper screening of candidates for certain skills required and qualifications, including phone screenings and background check if needed
- Facilitate recruitment tests
- Conducts initial interviews as needed
- Coordinates schedule with various interviewers
- Prepares interview guidelines and documents
- Timely coordination with applicants regarding the recruitment process, position job description, scheduling, status of their applications
Onboarding
- Prepares onboarding kit and essentials
- Coordinate and inform the new hire about the induction schedules and checklist
- Gather and process paperwork for onboarding requirements, verifying completion
- Collaborate with reporting manager to maintain and update an efficient HR database
- Conducts general company onboarding.
Engagement
- Supports employee inquiries related to various company programs and policies.
- Aid in administrative support in all employee engagement preparations and activities.
- Assist in activity implementation
Training
- Facilitate the enrollment and scheduling of employees for workshops, seminars, or webinars
- Inform and coordinate to trainees the itinerary, important details, and calendar invitation
- Maintains appropriate records and employee files as needed
- Escalate concerns to the HR team in a timely manner and monitor to ensure resolution.
- Prepare general monitoring tracker for all HR activities
- Provide assistance and support to the HR manager for any ad hoc HR task.
Administrative Support
- Processes various requests related to employee and/or client engagements
Other related duties as required or assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Essential
- Basic HR Principles
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledgeable of software or related tool (MS office) and comfortable doing trackers (excel, Google forms)
- Academic background in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or a related field
- Creative, proactive, and reliable
- Empathic, problem solver and loves learning
- Personable and professional demeanor; enjoys working with a diverse range of individuals; comfortable talking to people
- Highly organized, efficient and has exemplary attention to detail
Nice-To-Have
- Basic labor laws
- Photo editing skills
- Internship experience in the related field is required for this position
- At least a year of relevant experience in HR field
