Job Description

First Philippine Industrial Park is looking for a Relationship Manager who will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current (and when needed, prospective) locators and key clients, working to solve and business challenges and identifying opportunities to enhance and capture incremental value. You will establish FPIP’s CRM guidelines, with the goal of improving the quality of existing business partnerships between FPIP and key locators/clients and to find and develop new business partnerships to facilitate growth. You will maintain and manage regular contact cadence with key customers and maintain an updated, comprehensive client database. As Relationship Manager, you will report to the Head of Corporate Planning, Market Development and Customer Relationship Management and will be based onsite in FPIP.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Work alongside business and support units to create and enforce plans that will help meet the needs of customers
  • Work quickly to address and resolve customer issues (on an enterprise level)
  • Forward new, upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales teams
  • Conduct regular competitive scans
  • Help promote and maintain a positive company image
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of company products and services.
  • Conduct industry/business research in pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Identify clients' existing and future needs and requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • Provide clients with comprehensive product/service consultations and guide their decision-making process.
  • Assist business or support units in resolving complaints and issues efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through CS programs and regular monitoring
  • Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships
  • Promote high-quality sales, supply and customer service processes
  • Anticipate potential issues and assist business units in renewal of contracts

Minimum Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in sales, marketing, communication, or a similar field. Experience in sales or customer service is preferred
  • At least 8-10 years of proven experience as a relationship manager, in customer service, or a similar role, possessing quality of mind and curiosity, if not actual background, to understand manufacturing processes, challenges and trends
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and business relationships
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Customer-oriented, with the aptitude for fostering positive relationships, teamwork and leadership skills
