Job Description
A. Customer and Regulatory Relations
- Interphase with Marketing and assist the Legal Counsel in formulating resolution to customer and regulatory issues, taking into consideration the Corporate Objectives.
- Liase with Regulatory Consultants.
- Maintains and develops the customer files ;
- Prepare letters and correspondence in connection with regulatory and legal issues referred.
B. Permits Compliance Monitoring
- Monitors permits and compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly compliance with ERC, DOE, NEA, NGCP, and PSALM, through coordination with appropriate departments, management, in coordination with the Legal Counsel for Operations.
C. General Legal Services
- Development – In charge in checking completeness of requirements of bidding referred.
- Support at Office of the President & CEO - provide support to the President and CEO on direct instructions such as, regulatory research & litigation.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a bachelor’s degree graduate of any business related course
Must have 2 years relevant experience in energy industry
Excellent writing and legal research skills
Good oral and communication skills
Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel MS Powerpoint
Knowledge of energy industry laws, rules and regulations
Must be able to work well under pressure and without supervision
